It should be obvious that it is the naturists and their associations that are running the activities rather than the federations. The federal activities are decided at annual meetings where delegates from the associations are voting for board members, budgets and which activities the federations should initiate and take part in.

The International Naturist Federation (INF) is a federation of national naturist federations. They are controlled by their members, the national naturist federations, at the bi-annual INF World Congress. The next one will be i Brasil in fall 2008, at Tambaba.
